Spent $300 on a fancy tool setter that barely worked

I bought this pricey tool setter from a supplier at a trade show last year. It was supposed to save me time on setups but the thing kept giving me false readings. After messing with it for two weeks I tossed it in the scrap bin. Anyone else get sold on a gadget that just made your job harder?
