Old school guy at the shop changed my mind about air blast chips off parts
I used to blow every part off with compressed air before measuring, thought it was faster. This guy named Dave at a job shop in Cleveland showed me a $5 plastic chip brush and said "air just moves the chips around, brush gets them out." Tried it on a tight tolerance bore and my measurements stopped jumping around. Anyone else find brushes better than air for certain setups?
