My cloud photo was shared without asking

Felt ripped off even though it's free to see. What do you guys think?

Yeah totally. Just because something is in a public space doesn't mean it's free for anyone to claim. That photo was your personal view of a moment, so sharing it without asking crosses a line.

Wait, so we're just handing out personal moments like free samples now? Guess I'll start taking pics of people's coffee orders and calling it my own art. The logic here is pretty wild, like if you see a nice garden on a public street, you don't just dig up a flower. That shot was yours, not some free stock image for the taking. Some folks really need a quick lesson in what "personal" means.

Christophermorgan's garden example is perfect, because next they'll be taking pictures of my lunch and calling it food photography. I guess we're all just free content machines now! Your cloud was basically kidnapped and put on someone else's fridge. The whole "public space" excuse is how we end up with people thinking they can just grab anything.
