Lived here 2 years before I tried Mitchell's ice cream, now I feel dumb

Everyone kept telling me to go to the one on Detroit in Lakewood. I thought it was just hype, you know, like another overpriced scoop shop. Finally stopped in last Saturday and got the buckeye flavor. Now I get it. That stuff is legit. Anyone else take forever to finally try it?

Ngl I finally tried it last month too and I just don't get the hype? Like it was fine but Graeter's is way better imo.

Used to think it was overhyped too. But after getting a pint of the black raspberry chip I finally saw what people were talking about. Graeter's is still good but Jeni's texture is just way creamier.
