I finally had a perfect Saturday service after 6 months of chaos

Last weekend everything just clicked... tickets came in smooth, the new guy didn't burn a single steak, and we cleared the board by 9pm. Has anyone else had one of those nights where the whole line just syncs up like that?

Read somewhere that those perfect shifts are like catching lightning in a bottle, and I agree with @sagelane, the universe definitely balances them out with the disasters.

Three times in the last year and I'm pretty sure the universe was just making up for the other 49 Saturdays where I forgot to put the fryer baskets back and set off the fire alarm.
