Am I the only one who feared undercooked eggs for decades?

A trip to Japan where I ate raw egg on rice without issue made me relax my rules.

Ever since I got food poisoning in Japan, I'm careful with raw egg.

Notice how one bad experience can completely change how you handle simple things. It's like your brain sticks a warning label on anything related from then on. Makes you second guess stuff you used to do without a thought.
