Wasted $75 on a 'calming' cat pheromone diffuser that just made my tabby, Gouda, ignore his favorite window perch for a week.
Has anyone else had a product totally backfire and change a cat's routine in a bad way (you know, like making a happy spot suddenly boring)?

Ever try one of those plug-in air fresheners? My cat started hissing at the couch corner it was near.

Honestly those things are a lifesaver for bad pet smells, they just need to be placed up high. Your cat was probably just surprised by the new scent at first. A quick adjustment and everything goes back to normal.
