My cat's weird litter box thing took me 3 months to figure out
Honestly, my cat Mittens started peeing right next to the litter box, not in it. I tried everything, like moving the box, changing the litter brand, and even got a second box. Ngl, I was ready to call the vet for a big bill. The fix was so simple. I finally realized the plastic liner I was using had a crinkly sound she hated. Took the liner out and she went right back to normal the next day. Has anyone else had a cat freak out over something that small?

You think that's bad? My cat refused to use the box for two days because I washed it with a new soap that had a light lemon smell. She acted like I'd poisoned her palace. Had to scrub it out three times with just water before she'd even go near it again. They have noses like little supercomputers for finding things to hate.

Oh man, that's so real... my old cat went on strike for a week because I bought a new bag of the same litter and they'd changed the box design. The picture was slightly different and she just gave me this look of total betrayal. Had to go back to the store and find an old box in the back. They're such tiny, picky little creatures sometimes.
