Rolled vs. folded debate, I flipped sides after a Tokyo trip
I used to be a hardcore folder, swore rolling was for people who didn't care about wrinkles. Then I spent 6 days in Tokyo with a 35L bag and realized I could fit 3 extra shirts rolled, and the wrinkles were no worse. Now I roll everything except dress pants, and I make sure to put those on top flat. Anyone else switch methods because of a specific trip or did I just have it backwards?
Started rolling everything for a 2 week Europe trip last year, and honestly I never looked back. The only thing I keep flat is my linen button up, and that goes on top of everything else so it doesn't get crushed. Packing cubes helped too, but the rolling was the real game changer for me.
