My sister said my packing cubes were a waste of space
She saw my bag before a trip to Denver and said I was using them wrong, just stuffing clothes in. She showed me how to roll everything tight first, then put the rolls in the cubes. I fit two extra shirts and a pair of jeans in the same bag. Has anyone else had a basic tip totally flip their system?

It's always the simple stuff, right? We overcomplicate things and miss the basic trick that makes it all work. My whole kitchen organization changed when someone told me to just put the lids under the containers in the drawer.

Simple stuff" only works until you have more than three containers. Then you're digging through a drawer like an archaeologist every time you need a lid. That under-container trick just makes it harder to see what you have.

Man, that's EXACTLY what happened with me and my fishing tackle. I used to just throw lures and hooks in a big plastic box and spend half the trip untangling everything. My buddy showed me to put all the similar stuff in little zippered pouches first, then drop those pouches into the box. Now I can grab a whole setup in two seconds flat instead of digging through a mess. It's like your sister with the packing cubes - someone just shows you one basic move and your whole system clicks into place. Simple stuff is usually the stuff we overlook the most.
