Tried a power stretcher with handle extensions on a tough L-shaped hall

I had a job last week in Phoenix where the hallway had three doorways and a tight corner. My regular power stretcher kept hitting the baseboards and I couldn't get enough tension. A buddy suggested I try those 18 inch handle extensions you can clip on. I added two of them and it let me pull from way further back without the head slipping off the gripper. Has anyone else used extensions for weird layouts like that?

Weren't you worried about the extra leverage breaking the gripper's teeth loose mid stretch?

oh man, those extensions are a lifesaver for tight hallways like that. i had a similar setup in an old house with weird angles and the extra length made all the difference for getting proper tension without wrecking the baseboards. totally worth grabbing a set if you do a lot of tricky layouts.
