I finally got a clean seam on that tricky Berber in the Lakewood split-level
Instead of my usual method, I used a fresh blade for every single cut on the pattern match and it laid down perfectly. Anyone have a better trick for keeping those loops from pulling out when you're trimming?

Fresh blades are a game changer for that stuff. What really saved my bacon on a similar job was a sharp hook knife for the final trim, not a regular blade. It slices through the loops clean without grabbing and pulling them out. A little spray adhesive on the seam edges before the final cut can help hold everything in place too.

Hook knives are a total lifesaver for that... the spray adhesive trick is genius too, never thought of that.

Spray adhesive before cutting can gum up your blade pretty fast, just a heads up.
