Serious question, why does everyone keep saying a 20 degree bag is fine for summer in the Rockies? My kid froze in a brand new one at 9,000 feet last July.

Totally get it, I froze my butt off with a 20 degree bag too.

Wow, I used to think that too (and @avery_fox93 gets it) until a cold snap proved me wrong.

@evaperez sounds like that bag was more optimistic than a weather forecast.
