That $40 shutter curve analyzer was a waste, blame the bench lamp
Picked up a used shutter speed tester off eBay for 40 bucks. Hooked it up Tuesday and every reading came back half a stop slow. Got frustrated and nearly recalibrated a perfectly good Copal shutter. Turns out the fluorescent lamp over my bench was messing with the optical sensor. Moved the whole setup to the window side and got clean numbers. Anyone else run into interference from shop lighting that made them chase ghosts?
