Saw a repair bench in Seattle with 14 lenses on it, all tagged 'do not touch'
Stopped by a camera shop near Pike Place last month and the guy in back had a whole bench full of glass he was cleaning, every lens tagged with tape and a date. He said he waits at least a week between tear downs so the grease has time to settle, which I had never heard. Anyone else space out their lens work like that, or do you just finish one and move on?
