Tried a P-Tap power adapter for my tester instead of AA's on a job in Cleveland
The P-Tap saved me from swapping dead batteries in a wet crawlspace after my last three jobs chewed through a 12 pack of AAs in two days.

Wet crawlspaces are basically the armpit of any house, so if PPTs help even a little, that's a win in my book lol. I've been in enough dank basements to know any dry spot feels like a miracle. Plus, crawlspaces always smell like wet dog and regret, so less moisture means less of that funky aroma. At least now those poor workers aren't sloshing around like they're in a swamp. Honestly, PPTs sound like the unsung heroes of gross home maintenance. Count me jealous of your slightly less miserable crawlspace life haha.
