TIL ladder safety used to be a lot more casual back in the day

I dug out some old photos from my first year on the job, and we're just leaning ladders against gutters with no tie-offs. These days, my company requires a full harness system and a partner for any roof access. It's definitely safer, but man, it adds time to every install. What's one old habit you're glad is gone now?

Asbestos insulation work is the big one. They used to handle that stuff with bare hands and no masks. Glad that's over.
