My old compression tool gave out mid-job in the rain last Tuesday
I was finishing up a line to a new build in the suburbs and the handle just snapped clean off. It was a Klein model I've had for maybe five years. I had to run back to the truck for my backup, which set me back an hour on a tight schedule. Anyone have a brand of compression tool that can really take a beating?

Klein tools are usually solid. Five years in the field is a decent run. Might have just been a bad casting on that handle. My Ridgid gave up after only two. Switched to a Milwaukee Force Logic. The hydraulic ones are a different game. No more hand fatigue, just consistent crimps.

Yeah, that's rough... @the_river is right about the bad casting thing, it happens. Once a handle starts to flex, it's just done for good crimps.
