Question about switching from band saw to hand saw for primal cuts

I used to break down all my primals on a band saw for years. Seemed faster and cleaner. But about 6 months ago I got a new apprentice who kept complaining about the sawdust and bone fragments getting everywhere. He showed me how he does everything with a 12 inch scimitar and a handsaw for the big bones. Took me a while to get the feel for it but honestly I feel like I waste less meat now and cleanup is way easier. Anyone else made this switch and stuck with it or go back?

Nah, I made the switch a few months back too and I honestly can't see myself going back haha. So much less mess.

@shane_perry29 I saw a review saying these last way longer, which seals it for me.
