My new band saw blade from a local supplier in Boise is tearing up my cuts
I paid about $85 for a 144-inch blade they said was top quality for breaking down beef. It's leaving a rough edge on every primal cut, even after I checked the tension and guides. Has anyone else had trouble with blades from Idaho Saw & Supply, or should I look at a different brand?

Oh man, that's brutal for eighty-five bucks. Sounds like their "top quality" blade is better at making beef jerky strips than clean cuts. I'd be taking that thing right back to them and asking for a demo on their own saw.

Honestly though, is it really THAT big of a deal? For eighty-five bucks you can't expect laser precision. Sometimes a blade just needs to be broken in or you hit a weird knot in the wood. Jumping straight to a public call-out seems a bit much.
