Back in 2010, I had to pick between a band saw and a new walk-in cooler

The shop was tight on cash, so it was one or the other. I went with the band saw, thinking I could just keep renting cooler space from the guy down the street. It worked for a while, but that rental fee added up to about $200 a month. Looking back, I wonder if I should have just taken a loan for the cooler. Anyone else ever make a call like that that saved money short term but cost more later?
