TIL the public library has a discbound punch in the maker space
Went to the downtown branch in Austin last Saturday to print something and spotted a punch for discbound notebooks sitting right next to the 3D printer. I'd been eyeballing one for $80 online but this one was free to use with a library card. Spent two hours cutting down some old graph paper into a custom weekly layout that fits my carry binder. Has anyone else found weird journaling gear hiding in their local library's communal area?

wait, that punch is probably a Happy Planner brand one, not the discbound system you're thinking of, those use different hole shapes. still cool the library lets you mess with it for free though.
