Hot take: digital collections are not real bullet journaling
I got into bullet journaling about 6 months ago and someone told me I was doing it wrong because I use a tablet and stylus instead of pen and paper. They said the whole point of BuJo is the physical act of writing and the analog feel. But I argued that the system is about rapid logging and collections, not the tool itself. Now I am using both - a physical notebook for daily logs and the tablet for my monthly trackers. It feels like two different mindsets. Does anyone else split their methods like this or am I the only one who thinks digital counts as real BuJo?

Exactly! Everything's hybrid now, not just bullet journals.

My friend swore by paper until she dropped her BuJo in a puddle and lost three months of habit tracking.
