That's a solid win right there. My buddy's truck AC went out last summer and the shop quote was insane. He spent a whole weekend watching videos and ordering parts online. Got it blowing cold again for less than a hundred bucks in the end. Makes you wonder what they're charging for sometimes.

What part did your buddy end up replacing on his truck? I've heard the blend door actuators are a common fail point on some models, but the shops always seem to jump straight to the compressor.
