TIL I was overpacking toiletries for every trip by a huge margin

I used to pack a full size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for every 3 day trip, taking up half my bag. Now I just refill those tiny hotel bottles from my last stay and keep them in a ziplock - has anyone else switched to doing this and saved space?

Used to do the same damn thing with a giant bottle of head and shoulders that would leak everywhere. Now i just use those little lock top squeeze bottles from the dollar store, fill em up with my regular stuff from home. Takes up like no room and i aint paying for overpriced travel sizes anymore.

Aw man, tell me about it. I once had a huge bottle of conditioner explode in my carry on and it messed up everything in my bag for weeks. Now I just grab those little silicone travel tubes from whatever gas station I'm at. Theyre cheap and they never leak no matter how much I toss my bag around. Plus I feel like a genius when I see people dropping 12 bucks on a tiny shampoo at the airport. Its like we figured out the secret handshake or something.
