My sister in Boise said she 'just waters them' when I asked about her fern care three years ago.
Last month I saw the same ferns, and they looked better than my over-researched ones. Do people just overthink plant care sometimes?

My fiddle leaf fig in Phoenix gets tap water and direct sun, no research.

Exactly, we fuss over them way too much. My own plant gets whatever water is in my glass and sits by a sunny window, thriving just like kaimiller said. They really do better when we just leave them alone.
