Just finished my 100th pressure vessel inspection at the Port of Houston

I was going through my log book last night and saw the count. It hit me that I've checked every weld and fitting on a hundred of those big tanks now. The first one took me almost three days back in 2018, but I can do a full visual and UT scan in one shift now. What's a good way to mark a personal milestone like this in our trade?

Maybe get a custom stamp for your log book, like a little 100 club badge lol.

Seems like a lot of fuss for just hitting a hundred. It's just a number in a book, not a lifetime achievement award. A custom stamp feels like taking it way too seriously. I just write it down and move on to the next one. Making a big deal out of it kind of misses the point of just getting out there.

A hundred vessels at Houston? That's a hell of a lot of steel. You must have seen some real rust buckets over the years.
