That overcast day last spring taught me something about using a tripod for blurry shots
I used to just assume my camera was broken when photos came out fuzzy, but after three failed attempts to capture a cardinal at my feeder, I finally realized bumping the shutter speed down a notch and bracing against the doorframe was all it took to get a crisp picture, has anyone else had that moment where the fix was simpler than you thought?

Three failed attempts at a cardinal" - I've gone 0 for 12 trying to get a decent shot of a squirrel that keeps taunting me from my bird bath. Turns out my "pro" tripod was actually just a wobbly noodle with legs.

That's the universe telling you that "pro" is just a word companies slap on junk to charge triple. @evaperez your squirrel situation is basically life in a nutshell. You think you're ready for one thing, and something else completely falls apart because the foundation was never solid. We all end up chasing cardinals and squirrels while our gear betrays us.
