Saw my birth mom at the grocery store in Phoenix last month

I was grabbing milk in aisle 4. She was three carts down. Didn't even recognize her at first. Last time I saw her was 3 years ago at a diner. She just looked past me like I was a stranger. Has anyone else run into their birth mom somewhere random like that?

Oh please, she was probably just distracted, is it really that big of a deal?

Distracted" is putting it lightly, @betty144. The bigger issue nobody's talking about is that she's done this three times in the last month, which makes it a pattern, not a one-time slip. If it was just once, sure, no big deal, but repeating it shows she doesn't care enough to pay attention.
