Drove by the agency where I placed my son back in 1995
It's a frozen yogurt shop now with one of those self-serve machines. I sat in the parking lot for 20 minutes watching kids come out with sprinkles on their cones and couldn't shake the feeling that everything here is just a different version of something else.

Guess I should've held out for a free sprinkles topping with every dropoff.

Two years ago I tried negotiating for free sprinkles on a bulk order of 50 cupcakes and the bakery manager just stared at me like I had two heads. Sometimes you have to ask for these things to see where the line actually is, even if it means getting a polite no. Worst case scenario they say no and you still get your cupcakes, best case you end up with a little extra sugar on top.
