Yeah, that'll hold for a while. Just keep an eye on it and replace it with a proper clamp when you can.

That sounds like a temporary fix at best...

Temporary fixes can last way longer than you'd expect. My buddy had a duct tape patch on his hose for three years. Sometimes the quick solution just becomes the permanent one.
