My attempt at cold smoking cheese ended up tasting like a campfire

I left it in too long, I guess. Now I have a brick of smoky cheddar that's too strong to eat. I followed a video guide, but it didn't help.

Totally get what @the_mason is saying here. I used to think that more effort always meant better results. That changed after I burned out on a project by going too hard too fast. Now I realize that restraint can be a SUPER important part of success. @the_mason's comment is a PERFECT example of why we need to check our excitement. Learning to hold back a little has made a HUGE difference for me.
