Switched from a straight razor to a shavette for neckline cleanups

Always thought the fixed blade was faster, but a client in Dallas pointed out the shavette's precision for his tough beard grain. Anyone have a favorite shavette brand under $40?

Ever try a Parker shavette? I used one for years when I did a lot of neckline work. The weight felt right and the blade change was simple, which kept things moving. Found it way easier to get a clean line on tricky spots compared to my old straight razor. For the price, it was hard to beat.

Yeah, it's funny how the simpler tool often works better.

Totally agree... the Parker was my go-to for beard shaping for ages. That blade change system saved me so much time between clients.
