Wait, you used to just skip asking them what they wanted? I mean, that seems like asking for trouble right from the start. Even my regulars sometimes want something totally different, so I can't imagine not checking in first. That one bad fade must have been a nightmare to fix, no wonder you changed your whole routine. I guess a couple minutes talking really does save you from a huge headache later.
