My basil taught me a lesson about watering schedules

Three years ago in my old apartment, I killed a pot of basil by watering it every morning like clockwork. Last week I noticed my new plants in the self-watering pots are twice as big because they only drink when they're thirsty. Anyone else switch to those pots and see a big change?

Depends on the person honestly... some folks thrive with clear deadlines and others just freeze up. I've seen coworkers do amazing work under pressure while I need a slower pace to think things through.

My friend's succulents were drowning until she got those pots, and @david176 is right, it's like people needing different work styles too!
