Help, my sourdough starter tried to take over the kitchen

I forgot to check it before bed. Woke up to dough all over the counter.

Actually, consider that it might be a feature, not a bug. @willowgarcia, your situation sounds annoying, but sometimes there's a good side to it. Maybe it's doing you a favor by acting that way. What seems like a mess could just be normal operation. So jumping to blame it might not be fair.

It's wild how often the "bug" is actually the intended design lol. Makes you wonder what else we're just misunderstanding.
