Found out most baking scales are wildly inaccurate under $30

I always thought my kitchen scale was fine. Then I weighed a cup of flour on it and got 130 grams. Weighed it again and got 145. I did this 5 times and got 5 different numbers. Turns out there's a YouTube channel called "The Kitchen Scale Project" that tested like 40 scales under $30. Only 3 of them were actually accurate within 2 grams. The rest were all over the place. I spent $45 on a decent Escali scale and now my cookie recipes actually come out the same every time. Has anyone else had their stuff turn out different because of a cheap scale?

Yeah that cup of flour thing drove me nuts too, I finally just bit the bullet and got a My Weigh KD-8000 after seeing the same video. Three different cheap scales I tried before that were all consistently 10-15 grams off.
