My new shed door fell off its hinges the first time I opened it
I put up a basic 8x10 shed kit last month and thought I was done. Last Tuesday, I went to grab my lawn mower and the whole door just dropped onto the grass when I turned the handle. The screws they gave me for the hinges were way too short for the frame. My neighbor saw it happen and just said, 'Well, that's one way to make an entrance.' Has anyone else had a pre-made shed door just give up like that? What kind of screws did you use to fix it?

It's the same with everything now. They cut corners on the small parts that hold it all together. You just have to buy your own decent screws.

Cheap screws keep the price down for people who just need something to work for a year. It's not like they're hiding the quality, you get what you pay for.

Exactly, @taragrant. It feels like everything's built to fall apart now. They save a few cents on screws so you have to buy the whole thing again next year.
