Got caught in a freak storm on the Pacific Crest Trail near Crater Lake last July
Lost my trail marker ribbon in the downpour and ended up hiking 3 extra miles past the cutoff before I realized, anyone else ever miss a turn because of bad weather?

And instead of a nice straight highway you ended up on a gravel road full of potholes and twists. That's how my move went last summer, every detour sent me through some small town with a single gas station and a diner that looked like it was from 1955. Took me three extra hours but I got some good pie out of it, so I guess it wasn't a total loss.
