Warning: trying to save time on a quarter panel blend on a 2018 Civic

I rushed the sealer coat last week and the orange peel came back after two days, but doing it right the first time took half the total job hours. Anyone ever have a blend fail because the sealer wasn't fully cured?

Rushing the sealer is a classic trap (we've all been there). I had a blend on a Camry fail for the same reason, and the comeback job was brutal. That extra cure time is never optional.

Oh, the sealer coat. It's like that one step that always whispers "you can skip me" right before it screams "surprise, do the whole job again!" That extra cure time feels like watching paint dry, because it is, but skipping it just means you get to watch it all over again next week. My rule now is if I'm even thinking about rushing it, I just walk away and get a coffee. The comeback is always twice the pain of just waiting it out the first time.
