Ugh, I learned that lesson the hard way too... slow and steady wins the race.

Took me years to figure that out with home projects. Rushing just means doing things twice when you mess up. My wife still laughs about the time I tried to paint the living room in one afternoon. The trim looked like a toddler did it. Now I just accept that everything takes three times longer than I plan.
