My street has lost three big oaks in the last two years, @derekcarr. It's like a weird, sad domino effect once one goes.

My block looks like a bad haircut now, just random patches of sky where trees used to be. It's like the trees get lonely and decide to all fall over together. The city keeps planting those spindly little replacements that look like they'd snap in a stiff breeze. We're basically just building a future of sad twigs and higher AC bills.
