Pro tip: I thought the 'ice cube trick' for a noisy dishwasher was a joke until I tried it on a Whirlpool last week.
A customer in Mesa swore by putting an ice cube in the disposal side of their dishwasher to sharpen the blades and stop a grinding sound. I was ready to sell them a new chopper assembly, but I figured why not try the free fix first? After running it with a single cube, the noise was completely gone. Has anyone else actually had a weird home remedy like that work on a call?

Yeah, I had a phone that kept overheating and shutting down. Putting it on a bag of frozen peas for like ten minutes let it cool down enough to finish an update. Felt ridiculous but it saved me a trip to the store.
