What if the noise online is just easier to make than the quiet work of actually making a show? @oliviabennett, you see people building whole identities around having an opinion on something they never actually watch. The show itself is a finished thing, but the chatter online is a game anyone can play forever without ever touching the real product. It feels like we're rewarding performance over experience.
