Had to pick between finishing a long series or starting a new one

I was three episodes from the end of '86' (you know, that mecha war anime) when a friend pushed me hard to start 'Chainsaw Man' with them. I chose to finish '86' first, which took me two nights. Honestly, the ending hit so hard I was in a daze for a day after. Now I'm worried 'Chainsaw Man' won't live up to that feeling. Anyone else get that weird post-series letdown when you finally finish something great?

Just call it a tv show hangover and move on. Chainsaw Man is a totally different kind of story, so comparing them is pointless. You'll enjoy it more if you stop setting up this weird competition in your head.
