Wireless vs hardwired on a retrofit in Philly, one was a nightmare

Just finished a 12-door retrofit in an old row home and hardwired was 3 hours faster than the wireless panel I used last month in Jersey. The brick walls and plaster killed the RF signal so bad I had to re-run half the zones anyway. Anyone else finding wireless only works when the building is less than a century old?
