Had a DSC Neo panel completely lock up on me yesterday in a finished house

It was in a big place over in Brentwood, and the system just froze during final programming. No keypad response, nothing. Had to pull the backup battery and main power for a full five minutes to get it to reboot. Anyone else run into a Neo doing this, or know a faster fix?

Ever had that happen with a Vista panel? I've seen them lock up just as bad, maybe worse. I had one freeze on a walk test last month, same full power cycle fix. Honestly, I don't think it's just a Neo thing, seems like any panel can just decide to take a nap if the programming hits a weird snag.
