Finally compared hardwired vs. wireless on a tricky ranch house install

I spent last Tuesday swapping out a older hardwired system on a 4000 square foot ranch with concrete block walls. My usual go-to is wireless for the speed, but I decided to run new wires through the attic instead. Every zone came in clean and the panel didn't drop a single sensor during the whole day. Has anyone else found that hardwired is way more reliable when you're dealing with thick walls and long runs?

Every zone came in clean" is exactly why I still go hardwired on concrete block. Just make sure your attic runs don't cross any plumbing vents or you'll be chasing ghost signals for days.

Is it really that big of a deal? I've run hardwired through concrete block a few times and never had a problem. You're telling me one plumbing vent will wreck the whole thing, @ryan_coleman21?
