Am I the only one who sees new guys skipping the final torque check on engine mount bolts?

I watched a kid at our hangar in Phoenix just slap a wrench on them last week, and it matters because that vibration over 500 flight hours will find ANY slack and cause a world of hurt, so how do you all drill that into the fresh hires?

My buddy’s Cessna needed new mounts at 600 hours.

Sounds like he got lucky they lasted that long.

Yeah @lisa671, that's a good point. Some of those older engine mounts get really brittle. Saw a set come off a 172 at annual that were basically dust.
