TIL the $9 silicone air fryer liner I almost skipped actually saved my counter
I grabbed a two pack of those silicone liners at Home Goods about 3 years back for around $9 and honestly forgot about them in a drawer. Fast forward to now, I use one basically daily for wings, roasted veggies, and reheating leftovers, and it catches all the grease and crumbs that used to bake onto the basket. Before this, I was scrubbing that nonstick coating with a sponge after each batch and it started flaking near the corners, which freaked me out since a replacement basket runs about $25. The liner just goes in the dishwasher and the basket stays spotless, so I have not bought a single replacement part since. The one catch is you lose a little crisping on the bottom of stuff since the air can't hit it directly, so I flip nuggets halfway. Curious if anyone else uses liners or if you all just soak the basket and call it a night?
